Dr. Roberts received his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois Dental School. He continued his clinical education in a 2-year General Practice Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During this residency he received advanced training in dental and implant surgery as well as sedation procedures. He was nominated three times as the Texas Dentist of the Year by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry and lectures regularly on the topic of Preventing and Responding to Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office.

Dr. Roberts has served as a member of the Anesthesia Workgroup for the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, worked on the Advocacy Committee for the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and is a member of the AGD Moderate Sedation Task Force.
