Course Overview:
This full-day, hands-on program presents an innovative indirect/direct inverse injection composite layering technique that broadens restorative options. Over the past eleven years, Dr. Terry has developed and refined a minimally invasive adhesive protocol that advances restorative and esthetic dentistry. The method delivers a precise, predictable way to convert a diagnostic wax-up or existing model into composite restorations by blending multiple hues and opacities of highly filled flowable materials. Clinical applications of the technique are organized around the Adhesive Design Concept featured in Dr. Terry’s book Restoring with Flowables; the program’s first two hours will demonstrate many of these applications.
For clinicians who find direct bonding challenging, this course is transformational, offering clear strategies to create attractive anterior composite restorations quickly. It also teaches a reliable technique for shaping the peri-implant region with composite provisionals during immediate implant placement.
In the hands-on sessions, Dr. Terry demonstrates an injection workflow that produces highly esthetic direct and provisional restorations across multiple anterior teeth. The course also includes practical guidance on patient education and practice marketing to improve case acceptance and revenue.
Dr. Terry’s hands-on courses have been presented worldwide and are often referred to as “the Douglas Terry Experience.” Many leaders in cosmetic dentistry have followed his teachings; this course is designed to build on that legacy.
Team members (clinicians and technicians) will assist Dr. Terry in providing individual coaching and support to all course participants.
Remember to bring your enhanced vision (magnification loupes) and get ready for an exciting experience.
The course is based on concepts described in the 3rdedition of Dr. Terry’sEsthetic and Restorative Dentistry: Material Selection and Technique and Restoring with Flowables.Participants can prepare early for this experience by reviewing this book and recent videos. This authoritative and globally respected textbook is available in multiple languages from Quintessence Publishing, or online at www.quintpub.comorwww.amazon.com.
