Zirconia implants have become a recognized evidence-based solution in implant dentistry. With today’s implant patients searching for a natural looking smile and those with a metal-sensitivity, all-zirconia implants can provide another option in your practice. Zirconia can also be a solution for reduced risk of peri-implantitis. Understanding the prosthodontics between restoring a zirconia implant and a titanium implant is key to offer these high-end results and increase your practice revenue.
This program will discuss many topics including material science, implant designs, prosthodontics, differences between bone level and tissue level implantation, the implants and abutments, impression taking, tissue management, and how to avoid restorative failures and many more.
During this program attendees will also have the opportunity to prepare zirconia implants and abutments in models including angulation, ferrule, beveling, contouring, and occlusal reductions.
