Abstract:
In this lecture, we will explore the mental health and resilience required in the fast-paced, high-stress environment of a growing specialty surgical office. From humble beginnings to a large-scale operation, we’ll examine the challenges and triumphs of managing an office dedicated to treating patients with precision. We’ll delve into the pressures of establishing world-class surgical practices focused on microsurgery, tissue regeneration, and cutting-edge digital workflows. Additionally, we’ll discuss the creation of a Patient-Based Research Network (PBRN) and a global network of offices spanning Texas, Japan, Connecticut, and Guam. Finally, we’ll offer a glimpse into the future of these ventures, shared by two individuals who live and breathe their work every day.
